30 Benefits of Salt

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men.” Matthew 5:13.

This verse tells us if we lose our saltiness, it is hard to add it back. (Light has benefits too and we are also called to be a light)

  1. Hi Steve! I didn’t know salt helps in preventing diabetes. I’ve been a diabetic for more than 5 years now and i’ve been trying everything I can get my hands on to help me control my sugar. Salt is really intriguing. I’ll consult my doctor on how I can integrate it in my diet.

    1. I am not sure how, but when I did a search for benefits of salt (forms of salt) it is what came up on a few places. But of course, you must ask your doctor before trying anything that you read. I think it may be talking about Epson salt, like soaking your feet and things in it.
