We all have bad days. Yes, even as a wee kitten I has bad days. They happen, I am told. So, how do you take care of you on a bads day?

Caring for the Hoomans

If you are a cat or perhaps even a dog reading this, then you know your hooman can have a bad day. Ms. Heather sometimes cries. I really don’t like that. No matter how much I try to meow and purr at her, she no seems to understand me.

So, cuddle. Do silly stuff. Just be near them.

Try to get your hooman to tell you what is bothering them or why their day was so bad. Remind your hooman that they are important to you.

Caring for Kittens

Sorry, Barky friends. As my favorite movie say, “dogs drool. Cat’s rule” (movie ‘homeward bound’). I is a Kitten. I no know about dog stuff. I know cat stuff.

Rule one.. don’t feeds us stuff we are to no have. Ms. Heather will often share with me some of her food. Well.. I sometimes get it off her plate. But there are things she will no let me has.

Rule two: Plays with us. We don’t have to have expensive toys. Ms. Heather bought me Meep, a $1 toy mousie. I likes to chase him around and round. Ms. Heather sometimes no likes that when she is sleepin. Cardboard boxes to climb in and on are fun. Small things of yarn (under watch of hooman eye) are super fun. But my favorite toy is Ms. Heather. Sometimes she just sits in floor with me and gives me all her attentions. I really like that.

And rule three..don’t forget we has feelings too. Ms. Heather gets that, most days. She always handles me gently, even when I can tell she wants to scratch someone really really hard. And I gets sad when Ms. Heather is gone for really really long time. But every time she comes home, she gives me extra treats and extra belly rubs and gives me special cuddles. prrr… I really likes that. She isn’t the fuzziest hooman, but she can cuddle well.
