America Recycles Day - a day to help remind us to help keep American beautiful by recycling. #AmericanRecylesDay #BeRecycled

A national initiative of Keep America Beautiful, America Recycles Day aspires to promote recycling and buying recycled products. Millions of products that can be recycled are discarded, contributing to landfills and trash in natural landscapes. Individuals can make the pledge to recycle, and start an event or join one of the ones nationwide.

This initiative day is held annually on November 15.

My wife and I recycle. We have containers with plastic and paper, plus aluminum cans. We take it to a near by recycling center.

There is a saying I remember …

Reduce, Reuse and Recycle!

Reducing and Reusing often go together. By reusing, we also reduce. Besides, we can often turn those recycle stuff into art, crafts, etc. If you cannot do that, find your local recycle center and drop it off there.

Oh yea, in most cases, you can even sell your aluminum cans to a metal junk yard and earn some extra pocket change too. (Unless you have a pop deposit – then return your can(s) or bottle(s) for that deposit back.
