Check out my the church sign from where I attend, Piedmont Baptist Church. This is what the church sign said July 5, 2015. I am attaching it to this article. The article now was written July 1, 2016, that is when I noticed I had this picture of our church sign from then. I set this to be published on July 2, 2016.

God has already blessed America

God has already blessed America and we Americans have taken advantage of it. We have turned our backs to God! We no longer can say God bless America, we should be telling America to bless God. America is becoming a country of freedom from religion and set of freedom of religion. We have taken prayer out of schools and ability to read our Bibles in schools.

We’re getting to where you cannot evangelize or even share Christ anymore. We as Christians need to become freedom fighters and stand up for our rights that are being slowly taken away. I think we don’t stand up because we either don’t know the word of God or were afraid of what man will think. Remember we answer to God, not man. If you want God to bless you and our nation. We need a bless Him! Now, I’m not talking about prosperity type stuff. I’m talking about we need to put Him first.

Matthew 6:33

Matthew 6:33 tells us a twofold statement. Seek ye first the kingdom of God AND His righteousness. Note the “AND” that means we have to do both not one or the other most people leave out the second part. We must seek out the kingdom of God. That means doing His will even if it goes against what man says. Look at the apostle Paul he did that! He may have been imprisoned beat up but hey he gave his life for Christ and that’s what we’re told to do.

Ephesians 2:8-9

The second part is we must seek His righteousness. Remember we are sinful and He was sinless. There is nothing we can do or can’t do it’s all about what Jesus has done for us on the Cross of Calvary.

His righteousness has been imputed onto Us, His believers. None of us is righteous only Jesus is that’s why we got to seek out His righteousness. For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift, not from works, so that no one can boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

Both of these go together too. When we seek the kingdom of God we are also seeking out the righteousness of Jesus Christ. And when were seeking out the righteousness of Jesus Christ where you are seeking out the kingdom of God.

Psalm 33:12

Psalm 33:12, it tells us “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord”. This shows us that we must put God first to be blessed. Sadly America is turning its back on God with all the sinful laws they are approving that goes against the Word of God.

Isaiah 5:20

Part of turning our back on God is where we believe good is bad and bad is good. Isaiah 5:20, tells us, “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” That seems like us today here in America and even now throughout most of the world.

Jeremiah 17:5

Even Jeremiah says in Jeremiah 17:5, Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord.“. Here again, in America, we are turning to man and not God. We are allowing man change what God says. We are living by the flesh more and more each day. We are turning away from the Lord too.

Stop saying God Bless America!

So America let’s stop saying God bless America and start saying America Bless God! If we want God to Bless America, we must first bless Him. As a Nation in whole, we are not blessing God! Because we are not blessing God, God’s hand of protection is slowly coming off from us. Wake up America! Take a look at what is going on around us. Today we want hands outs and we want what God can do for us. We don’t realize it is what we can do for God.

Like the saying Ask Not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country. We can apply that to God. Ask not what God can do for you, ask what you can do for God. Be available! Say, Here am I, Send or use me. Like Isaiah did in Isaiah 6:8.
