All Christians study Theology – Whether you know it or not, but all Christians study a form of theology. #Theology

All Christians Study Theology

This weeks Theological Tuesday just shows us that as Christians we all study theology. No matter if we realize it or not. No I don’t Steve! You might reply or tell me. I simply say you do. If you look at what theology means you will see that you do. Theology is simply the study of the nature of God and religious belief. When we read our Bible we are studying theology. Not to mention when we worship, go to Sunday School or Small Groups, Etc. too. Learning about God is what makes all of us Christians a theologian you can say. If you don’t do study or read the Bible, you may want to look into that. A Christian will love the things God loves.

No you don’t have to go to a fancy or non-fancy college or seminary to study theology. Just study and read your Bible! However, when you hear the word theology that is where you typically hear about theology being studied.

Theology translates into English from the Greek theologia (θεολογία) from Τheos (Θεός), meaning “God”, and -logia (-λογία), meaning “utterances, sayings, or oracles” which is part of the Greek word logos [λόγος], meaning “word, discourse, account, or reasoning”.
