Alcatraz East Crime Museum Review – Like to learn about crime, law enforcement, CSI, prisons, court etc. Take a tour in Alcatraz East. East for being on the East Coast. With this week’s
We both enjoyed the museum and thought it was very interesting and different.
I liked the pirates exhibit the best. As you know I’ve blogged about Talk
There
The lights do work on both the police motorcycle and car. I thought that was neat. I just wished, I knew the police motorcycle’s lights worked when I was on it.
I also enjoyed the Tennessee area, a temporary exhibit. It did feature Zaevior Dobson from my high school, Fulton.
They have a machine, you scan your finger print and it will come up with a printed card and tell you what you were arrested for. (This would make a great survivor and is free!) Mine said was I arrested for Burglary and my wife for driving. Of course, these are for fun!
I do believe that you will enjoy this museum if you are into law and crime. There are add-ons and other things you do as well. There are some games you can play too for additional cost.
Plan to spend several hours or more inside this museum. We were there for about three hours. But, we didn’t have any of the add-ons or played any of the games. One of the games coming soon, looks like a simulator of driving a police car. Now that would have been neat if it were operational when I was there.

My wife and I paid for discounted tickets on local days (where locals can get discounted admission). Since they wouldn’t give me a ticket, I waited for that to do this review. Nothing was given for it either.
