Adoration
Confession
Thanksgiving
Supplication
Adoration: Worship, Praise, deep love and respect
Confession: Admitting you are a sinner and have sinned against God.
Thanksgiving: Thanking the Lord for what He has blessed you with, or not blessed you with.
Supplication: Asking God to do something. We must ask in according to His will, not our own will.
If we really want a model prayer, we must look to the Lord’s Prayer. That is the model prayer set out before us. See Matthew 6:9-13.
