Acronym for Father by Steve Patterson. This is an acronym for the word Father. Actually, this is more of an acrostic type poem. This is also a FREE Printable for Dad! #FathersDay

Acronym for Father

Father acronym Printable (Acronym for Father Printable)

I hope your family has a great Father’s Day and your dad enjoys this free printable.

In 2012 I looked at my stats for this blog, I have noticed a lot of people landing to CourageousChristianFather.com by searching for an Acronym for the word “Father”.

That gave me some thought. So I decided to write an acronym and post it on here. You can see the acronym I wrote in the copy below or the image above. Actually this is more of an acrostic, a poem, word puzzle, or other composition in which certain letters in each line form a word or words.

F – Always being forgiving.
A –  Helps protect his family with an Armor of God
T –
Being a Teacher and being an example.
H – A helper in time of need or no need at all.
E – The memory of a father is everlasting.
R – A father is looked up to and also respected.

20th anniversary of the powerful film, “The Passion of the Christ.” In 2004, director Mel Gibson brought to the big screen a visceral and unflinching portrayal of the final hours of Jesus Christ. The film, aptly titled “The Passion of the Christ,” chronicles the agony, betrayal, arrest, torture, and crucifixion of Jesus. Here are some key points to reflect upon:
  • No Bones About It — Jesus is Alive!
The phrase ‘No Bones About It’ is often used as well to state a fact with no doubt meaning Christ arose from the dead His bones were never found! Jesus Christ is surely alive!
  • Maundy Thursday (Holy Thursday)
Maundy Thursday we don’t hear about this day too much, especially as a Baptist. Holy Week, that starts on Palm Sunday, week before the resurrection of Christ. Maundy Thursday falls the day before Good Friday and Easter. This is just a short write up on this day. #MaundyThursday #HolyThursday
  • Searching for Christ
Why do we go searching for Christ as if He is lost and someone to be found. We have it wrong it’s the other way around, Christ is seeking us who is lost so we can be found!
  • Spy Wednesday
Spy Wednesday or known as Holy Wednesday or even known as Great and Holy Wednesday. Sometimes known as Good Wednesday. This is the Wednesday that leads up to Easter. Part of Holy Week. #SpyWedneday #HolyWednesday #GoodWednesday

  3. Please pray for our new neighbors, they are teaching their two children that if someone makes you mad punch them in the face! The girl is 12 and has Cerebral Palsy and the boy just turned 10 and has already had to have one operation on his brain. Since last Sunday afternoon when the girl attached my 12 year old son over a kite the kids have been cussing my boys and sticking their middle finger up at them and telling them they need to die.

  4. Yes, I feel sorry for the children because they don’t know better. They went from locing my son because he stood up to a bully at school to punch him in the face?!? I told my boys lead by example and just try to be a good Christian influence.

    1. Yeap I did. I heard them talk about dad jokes on the radio this morning on the way to work. I hope you had a good Father’s Day. Thanks for visiting and commenting.

  8. Thank you for sharing this great resource! Sorry to comment on an old post, but I think this is a great, Biblical resource that someone like myself can definitely use. I like how you incorporated Biblical truths and verses into the acronym. This would be great for Sunday School lessons or crafts!
