6 Places to eat in Morristown

6 Places to eat in Morristown. I complied a list of restaurants that I like to eat at in Morristown, TN. Some of these are local restaurants, while others are not.

This list is in no particular order. These are the top six restaurants that I would recommend to go eat at in Morristown, TN. Yes, this one has six, instead of the normal five I plan to do with other locations. I choose to list Morristown, TN as I work in this city for this weeks Travel Thursday.

1. Cook Out

Address: 2251 W Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, TN 37814

Type: Hamburger, BBQ, Shakes

Favorite Menu Items: BLT, Double Bacon Cheese Burger, Bacon Wrap, Cheddar Bites

Pros: Cheap prices. The promo shake, if it is a good flavor is 99¢. The sweet tea is good and sweet here too. They are a Christian based company. They have scriptures on their drink cups and other packaging too.

Cons: Sometimes it can get very busy and crowded especially during lunch or when school let out in the area. They do not have marina sauce for the cheddar bites.

Opened: Not sure when the opened.

Address: 247 Merchants Greene Blvd, Morristown, TN 37814

Type: Sports & Wings

Favorite Menu Items: I love their chicken wings. They have a lot of flavors to choose from. The wings are 60¢ per wing on Tuesday and Thursday. They use to be 50¢ when I first started eating there. I also like their cheese sticks, they usually put shredded Parmesan cheese on top. Plus, the sweet tea is good and sweet!

Pros: The waitress are friendly and often know what drink I want. Plus, they know I like flats and ask what flavors I want when I go. Best time to go is at lunch when they first open. Wings are hotter and fresher. But overall, one of the best wings!

Cons: If you contact the business via Facebook about an issue, they are slow to rely. They serve alcoholic beverages. It is very loud inside when busy. During the day and night, wings aren’t as fresh.

Opened: Opened in 2015.

4. Firehouse Subs

Address: 140 Hatfield Dr. Ste 3, Morristown, TN 37814

Type: Subs & Sandwiches

Favorite Menu Items: Meatball Sub on Wheat (really good with pepperoni on it) and th eNew York Steamer (No Mustard). Their pickles are awesome too.

Pros: You can earn points for free food. Mondays is double points day!

Cons: Sometimes they do have lines and it takes awhile to get through the line. Other times you wait awhile to get your meal. Not too many selections of chips.
