Top Ten Politically Correct Christmas Carols

Top Ten Politically Correct Christmas Carols. In 2015, My buddy, Pastor Justin, sent me a photo of what I believe is a greeting card that says “Top Ten Politically Correct Christmas Carols” So I did a google image search and found a clearer copy and using it with this blog post. I wanted to share this with you, as we are in a world of being politically correct and avoiding offending anyone.

Sad we live in PC world where you have to watch what you say. Like these revised Christmas Carols umm Winter Songs to be “PC”.

  2. Have Yourself a Merry Little Day of Winter

  3. Frosty the Snowperson

  4. Chestnuts Roasting on a Safely Contained, Continuously Monitored Eco-Friendly, Nontoxic outdoor fire (for which I do have a Permit)

  3. Hark! The Herald Mythical Winged Creature Sings

  4. I saw Mommy Greeting Santa Claus with a Purely Platonic Expression of Inoffensive mutual affection

  5. I’ll Be Home for a short period of time in December

Of course these politically correct Christmas Carols are only for fun, but it goes to show how things change in meaning when being politically correct.

Just a side note, when I first published this blog post December 24, 2015, most of this copy is Politically Correct wording and my Yoast SEO compliant score says this about this blog post …

The copy scores 52.0 in the Flesch Reading Ease test, which is considered fairly difficult to read.

I am sure it is a matter of time before they update the Reading Ease test and it won’t say that. Boy was I correct, I updated this blog post on December 7, 2017. And the Flesch reading went up. It went from difficult to okay to read.

The copy scores 66.1 in the Flesch Reading Ease test, which is considered ok to read.

Now it’s 2020, it’s in the green saying good to read. That tells you something about the PC World.

Non-Specific Winter Carols instead of Christmas Carols

Just pray for our nation. This world will get much darker before it gets better. I pray that you can keep your light shining bright. I am surprised the title on the card didn’t say, Non-Specific Winter Carols instead of Christmas Carols. Sad but it seems this is the way things are going for now.

Not Politically Correct

I am not politically correct nor am I a liberal either. With being the a conservative and Biblically Correct, I am more worried about offending God than I am man. There is no tickling peoples hears either or tell them what they want to hear. I share what God wants them to hear. It is His will not my own.

Correct Christmas Carol Names

Below are the correct Christmas Carols but if the liberals get their way with the “PC” these may change.

  1. O Christmas Tree
  2. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
  3. Frosty the Snowman
  4. Chestnuts Roasting on an Open FIre
  5. God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman
  6. Grandama Got Ran Over by a Reindeer
  7. Deck the Halls with boughs of holly
  8. Hark! The Herald Angel Sings
  9. I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus

Just fyi, when you say the word Holiday, it is really saying Happy Holy Days.
