Day 10 – Sunday

Tonsillectomy Recovery & Adenoidectomy Surgery

Today was also my daughters 18th birthday, I know have an adult child.

Today was also church. I was able to go to both services. I missed last week and wasn’t able to go from this recovery. It felt good too. I packed me drinks, hard candies and frozen strawberry applesauce and some Go-Gurts, I could do before and after Worship. The hard candies during worship.

I took my daughter to Torro in Dandridge, TN to eat for her birthday. I couldn’t eat much there. I got flan. It was cold and soft. It tasted okay. It is not something I’d eat again. But I wasn’t going to let my daughter not have a special 18th birthday lunch because of my restricted diet. I know I could have got ice cream, but I have ice cream at home. It gave me a chance to try something new.

I also reached my step goals today. I’ve not been able to do that since  The day before my surgery.
