Road Signs of the Bible: Road Work Ahead

In this edition of Road Signs of the Bible, I want to talk about the Road Work Ahead sign. We usually see this on the road when they are doing work on the road. Usually it is to repair the road or fix the road. A repair or fix to make improvements.

This sign reminds me that God is always working on me. We are the road and God is the one working. It reminds me of a song the repeated part of the song is “He’s still working on me, To make me what I need to be”.

Some Bible verses showing God is working on us.

Allow God to use you, for the Great Commission, Matthew 28:16-20, We are all called to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. That is why God is working on you. Sometimes the storms we face are to make us a better person or maybe to help someone later down the road. No matter the trails we go through, God is always working on us.

More proof that God is working on us. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13).
