"But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." Joshua 24:15

Jesus First Church Sign

Check out this church sign that I passed on my way to work. It is from Alpha Baptist Church in the Alpha/Talbott/Morristown area. I saw it July 15, 2014, but took the picture on July 16.

This church sign reads …

If you want your influence to last put Jesus first.

This is so true. Both Matthew 6:33 and Luke 12:31 tell us if we seek the kingdom, that is putting Christ First, all things will be added onto us. So that would include your influence.

If I see a good church sign, I will most always stop and take a picture if I can. Sometimes I will try to go back and they have already changed the sign.

If you have a “real, verified” church sign feel free to contact me. I may just feature it on Courageous Christian Father.

This just reminds me that I am Second. If you have time, check out their videos, that have some people with powerful testimonies.
