The fourth week in November marks as International Bible Week, formally called National Bible Week. It is celebrated each year starting the Sunday before Thanksgiving.
I encourage you to take this time to read the bible daily. Stay in the Word of God. Fill yourself with the things of God and not things of the World.
National Bible Week got its start by the National Bible Association. It has now merged with other ministries, like American Bible Society, YouVersion, and Scripture Union, to help form it as International Bible Week.
In 2015 International Bible Week will occur September 22-28, 2015.
There is even a day set aside in this week for International Day of the Bible.
The first National Bible Week was scheduled for December 8-14, 1941; Pearl Harbor had been bombed just hours before.1
I am featuring the below Bible Verse. It is one of my favorite verses. This shows that anyone in my household must serve the Lord, we will go to church as a family, etc.
“But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 1:9
I encourage you to share Bible verses every day on your favorite social media. Don’t just share one day of the year, or one week of the year, but try to share a Bible verse daily on your social network.
I also encourage you to ready your Bible daily and study what it says.
