In God We Trust Left Off Dollar Coin

In God We Trust Left Off Dollar Coin – Did you know that “In God We Trust” was left off a dollar coin? This was imprinted on money for a long time. It is on all U.S. Currency. Take a look at the photo below. See it doesn’t have “In God We Trust” on the front of this coin.

Or Was it actually left off? This has been going around on on Facebook saying don’t use or accept these coins because “In God We Trust” was taken off by the U.S. Mint.

Side of coin

Well, this is a lie! It actually is on  the coin, it is just inscribed on the side of the coin. So it was not left off or omitted, it is still there, just not in an obvious spot like the front in most U.S. Coins. See the image below.

As you can can see, In God We Trust and E Pluribus Unum (out of many, one) are on the side of the coin. E Pluribus Unum is the US Moto, it is Latin. Also on the side of the coin is the mint date and all.
