Here is a billboard that says Homosexuality is a behavior. You know we all make choices. We choose who we love and don’t love. Who we accept and don’t accept. Love is a choice, not an emotion or feeling, but a choice. Love is actually also a command. We must love one another. See John 13:34-35.
This is what Rick Warren says about love:
But I have to tell you the truth: Love doesn’t just happen to you. Love is a choice, and it represents a commitment. ….
This same principle is true about your relationships: You can choose to love others, but God won’t force you to love anyone.

This graphic, I saw on Facebook. There are several versions of this billboard.
Left Side of the billboard
With the first person being of different ethnic groups. One shows a guy Born Latino. Another shows a woman born Asian. One shows a man and says born black. Then another one with a woman born white. I am not sure the locations of all these billboards but they look similar except the first person and what they were born.
The picture I have shown, shows all for of the born people. I am not sure if this board Image I found on the internet is up with all four of these or it was just to illustrate the different versions. Since each one I see has just one of the born people on it.
Middle of the billboard
Then the next picture if of a person rainbowed. The caption reads “Not Born This Way”. Also please note the Rainbow is a Covenant from God. Not a symbol of homosexuality.
Born Sinners!
We are all born sinners. We all have the sin nature in us. Once we accept Jesus Christ the old is gone. If we love Jesus we will keep his commandments. See John 14:15 & 1 John 5:3 and several other places. Even in Matthew 7:15-20 it tells us that we will know fellow believers by their fruit. Check out the Fruit of the Spirit.
Fellow believers won’t try to twist the Bible to make them feel good about their sin. We should feel guilty and ashamed before God about the sin we commit. We should want to repent or turn away from. God changes us into a new creation when we are saved. The old is gone. See 2 Corinthians 5:17
We must choose to obey God or not obey God. We choose to follow through in the sin or not follow through in it. We are not sinless but those who are saved will desire to sin less and not justify their sins. They won’t say well Jesus died for me so I am okay. Because Jesus died for us doesn’t give us a License to Sin.
Right side of the billboard
Then it goes on the right side of the billboard and says “Homosexuality is a behavior” and others say “Not a Civil Right”. Then toward the bottom right it has Genesis 2:24 & Matthew 19:5. See below as I share what those verses say. They didn’t put the verses on the billboard because they wanted you to crack open the Bible and read it for yourself. But we must also not just take that verse alone. We must read in context what is going on. A good point is to read the chapter before and after. Sometimes just that chapter. Other times it might be good to read that whole book of the BIble to gain a better understanding.
Genesis 2:24 Reads
Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
We must also read the whole chapter of Genesis 2:1-25. As this talks about God made man and then he made woman. He made woman for man. No where did he make man for man or woman for woman. Remember man was on the earth first, then God took man’s rib and formed woman.
Matthew 19:4-5 Reads
And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female, and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’?
I think on Matthew 19, we needed to back up one verse to get more of what is being said here. Matthew 19:1-10 talks about Marriage and Divorce. It clearly tells us that a man is to leave his family and join in marriage with a woman.

Restrain the Judges

A website that talks about self-governing and giving the government a restraining order. Part of it is to protect the first amendment, the fight to freedom of speech. As when we speak God’s word on this subject, people are trying to push it is hate speech. The reason they think it is hate speech is because the Christians are exposing the darkness and these people do not want to come into the light. They do not want to change their ways. But remember you may not change your ways here on earth, but one day you will face the Lord and be held accountable. Every Knee shall bow and every tongue confess. See Philippians 2:10-11

Check out this one billboard in Portland. It shares Leviticus 18:22 about you shall not lay down with a man like a woman.
It is not too late to change your ways. Give your life to Christ! He will change you and make you whole again. There is no sin that is not forgiven, but you do not want to be caught in the act of open sin and rebellion to God. The only sin that is not forgiven is the rejection of Jesus Christ. Remember if we love Him, we will want to turn away from the things that separate us from Him. Sin separates us from God.
