Gospel of John: A good starting point for reading the Bible
The Gospel of John is a great starting point for if you want to start reading the Bible or have no clue where to read next. I recommend this Gospel because it points the life of Jesus. Tells you about his ministry. I believe it is also one of the most popular Gospels in the Bible. Some people may call it a book in the Bible, but it actually considered a Gospel, meaning Good News.
Another reason I like it so much and recommend you read it first, is that a lot of Gospel Tracts are actually the Whole Gospel of John. The Life Book, one of my favorites, is a good one to use. It is great for youth and young people. I think older people would like it too. It has commentary in it. Another Gospel of John that is useful to hand out is the Pocket Testament League. According to one of the inside pages of the Pocket Testament League Gospel of John’s it reads …
This book is an eyewitness account of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. John wrote this account with a special theme in mind that he states near the end.
“But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” John 20:31
This post is based on my opinion. As of this posting I have almost ready half way through the Bible.
