Free At Last … I believe Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. also knew more when he said …

I personally also believe he knew that just more than ending slavery and being free in America, but also how we are FREE in Jesus. Jesus died for our sins and set us free.

Christ made us free as Galatians 5:1 says. We are free indeed if Christ is the one that sets us free. (See John 8:36)

John 3:16 shows us that. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Proof that we are free, that that freedom will give us everlasting life with our Father in Heaven. This freedom is not a license to sin either. All Lives Matter to God!

King, also knew it when he quoted part of Isaiah 40:4-5 in speech, saying that all flesh, meaning everyone will see. He knew that Jesus would reveal in time how we are created equal and and be free at last.

Isaiah 40:4-5

Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level,     the rugged places a plain. 5 And the glory of the Lord will be revealed,     and all people will see it together. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

Free At Last

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight; “and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together.
