Do we stand out amongst others?

I like this video, Trendy by BlueFishTV. Please take a moment to watch it. It is a little humorous, but watching it led me to posting this blog entry.

When I saw this video it made me think. Do we stand out amongst others? Can the World see Jesus in us? We should be different than the world. We live in the World, but we are not to be of this world.  It should show that we are of Christ and that we worship christ. If the world cannot see a difference in us and them, the we need to have our walk evaluated.

Just like how this one young man walked and acted different than the rest of the school. The school was taking the baby steps while this young man was walking normal. I think that is a good analogy how of how others should see Christ in us. We should be set apart from the world.

Just like Moses, his face was radiant because he was with the Lord during the time of deliverance. You can tell Moses was with God.

When we, the youth at my church was coming back from hiking Grotto Falls, we had a Bible study there. I was stopped by one person saying we were the happiest bunch of people coming down the trail that they had seen. My replies was, we had a Bible study and was worshiping God. So it does show we you have been in the presence of God.

I leave you with these two verses Romans 12:2 and 1 John 2:15.

Romans 12:2

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

1 John 2:15

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
