Crispy Chicken Alfredo Egg Roll
I got this idea from the Italian Pizza Egg Roll recipe I posted not that long ago. You can use that to help you with making the Crispy Chicken Alfredo Egg Roll as it uses the same premise, but you use chicken meat and alfredo sauce instead.
- Egg Roll Wraps or Spring Roll Wraps
- Cooked Chicken (Shredded or diced)
- Cheese Sticks or shredded cheese
- Alfredo Sauce (for dipping)
- Frying Oil (for frying)
The Egg Roll Wraps can be found in the refrigerated produce section of your grocery story. I had a hard time trying to find these when I went to look for them.
You can follow the directions on the Italian Pizza Egg Roll recipe on how to stuff and fold the egg roll wraps. The basic premise is shape it like a diamond. Put the toppings inside. Fold the bottom corner up. Then the two sides. Use water to tack the sides, then roll!
In this recipe I used pre-marinated mesquite seasoned chicken strips from the butcher of my grocery store. Plus, I used shredded pepper jack cheese. You can use any kind of chicken and cheese you like. But I might recommend a white cheese, maybe mozzarella or the pepper jack.
Once these are rolled, then they are ready to be deep fried in the hot oil. Try not to make the oil too hot though.
Then after they are cooked, heat up some Alfredo in a dipping cup and dip the Crispy Chicken Alfredo Egg Roll in it and Enjoy! I enjoyed these they were yummy!
These would make a great one for the family to make! My daughter said she loved these ones a bit more than the Italian Pizza Egg Roll recipe. She said these are like Crisp Chicken Alfredo. That is how I came up with the name for this blog post.
