Top 10 Lies of the Devil

Top 10 Lies of the Devil – Below is a list of the top 10 lies the devil will try to still, kill and destroy you with. Watch out for those fiery arrows.

Top 10 Lies of the Devil

Top 10 Lies of the Devil
  1. You know when to stop, don’t worry!
  2. You’re not as bad as some people.
  3. It’s not that bad depending on how you look at it.
  4. You have always done it.
  5. A little bit won’t hurt.
  1. No one is perfect, go ahead and do it.
  2. It won’t hurt you at all
  3. No one will ever know.
  4. It won’t kill you.
  5. Everyone’s doing it, so should you!

Remember after you do it then Satan becomes your accuser.  The devil will do whatever he can do to take you away from God. He only comes to steal, kill and destroy. They devil will reverse these lies on you too. The devil will make you think God won’t forgive you. God forgives! He puts our sins in the Sea of forgetfulness. Check out this blog post on forgiveness.

Remember the Devil is the Father of lies. He will lie to get you to sin and away from God. After you sin, he will lie to make you think you are not good enough for God and there is no hope. Don’t fall for these lies. These lies the devil tosses at us is nothing but fiery arrows. That is why we must Armor Up and put up our Shields.

Armor Up!

Red Alert! Raise Your Shields!

20th anniversary of the powerful film, “The Passion of the Christ.” In 2004, director Mel Gibson brought to the big screen a visceral and unflinching portrayal of the final hours of Jesus Christ. The film, aptly titled “The Passion of the Christ,” chronicles the agony, betrayal, arrest, torture, and crucifixion of Jesus. Here are some key points to reflect upon:
  • No Bones About It — Jesus is Alive!
The phrase ‘No Bones About It’ is often used as well to state a fact with no doubt meaning Christ arose from the dead His bones were never found! Jesus Christ is surely alive!
  • Maundy Thursday (Holy Thursday)
Maundy Thursday we don’t hear about this day too much, especially as a Baptist. Holy Week, that starts on Palm Sunday, week before the resurrection of Christ. Maundy Thursday falls the day before Good Friday and Easter. This is just a short write up on this day. #MaundyThursday #HolyThursday
  • Searching for Christ
Why do we go searching for Christ as if He is lost and someone to be found. We have it wrong it’s the other way around, Christ is seeking us who is lost so we can be found!
  • Spy Wednesday
Spy Wednesday or known as Holy Wednesday or even known as Great and Holy Wednesday. Sometimes known as Good Wednesday. This is the Wednesday that leads up to Easter. Part of Holy Week. #SpyWedneday #HolyWednesday #GoodWednesday

  1. Great reminders of how easy it is to backslide. Especially in this day and age. It is trendy to be rebellious, disobedient and selfish in the world. We need to put on the armor of God every single day.
