Sharing Your Testimony

I would like to take time talk about sharing your testimonies. I came up with the idea after I saw this Tweet on Twitter from Juanita Berguson (@JuanitaBerguson). She Tweeted:

Christian outreach idea: Record your testimony. Put on a CD. Give to people!

Sharing Your Testimony

I think that is a good idea. So I figured I would suggest some other ideas of sharing your testimony.

The Bible tells us we must be ready to share with people for the hope that is in us. Check out 1 Peter 3:15 (verse below)

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;

How about record your video testimony and share it on YouTube?

Write a letter (snail mail it to someone) or even email someone your testimony. This could be your friend, family or neighbor or even a stranger.

Use social media and share your testimony. Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, and more.

Share in public when you go to a store, maybe your waiter or waitress. People you pass when you walk. Co-workers etc.

Even at church in front of your congregation  or even at Bible study or your church small groups?

A blog entry, like mine: Testimony of Steve Patterson

Or even doing a cardboard testimony.

Possibilities are endless to sharing your testimony.

Share with them what your life was before Jesus, how you got saved and how your life has been different since you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.

Do you have other ideas of where you can share your testimony? Have you used any of these methods? How did it work?
