Entering Mission Field Exit Sign

While out delivering pizza as a pizza delivery driver, on April 25, 2016, I was in Talbott, TN area and passed Lebanon Baptist Church along Cherokee Lake and saw this exit church sign about the mission field.

Entering Mission Field Exit Sign

You are now entering the mission field! Matthew 28:18-20

This is what you see as a reminder when you leave Lebanon Baptist Church in Talbott, TN that you are leaving the church walls and going out and that when we are out, we are in the mission field.

Where ever we are, home, school, work, restaurant, grocery store, and the list can go on, that it is our mission field. We should be sharing the gospel and showing the light of Christ in us.

We are all called to share the gospel of Christ to everyone!

This Church exit sign reads, “You are entering the mission field! Matthew 28:18-20. Matthew 28:18-20 reads, ”

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Part of this is not only sharing the gospel, but showing the gospel in us. It is also teaching and training those around us in the way of the Lord as well. We are to do this continually. It is an on going action. We will face judgement for not witnessing.

This is part of the Great Commission, we are told to GO! That means No Standing! It is a motion to move forward to press on to fight the good fight to continue the race we are racing in.
