God’s Big Eraser

God’s Big Eraser – You might have heard this before God has a big eraser. Why does He have a big eraser? Thanks for asking!

God’s Big Eraser

God's Big Eraser

To know why He has a big eraser we must get to some basic ground work.

God loves us! Do you know how much? He loved us so much that He sent His one and only, meaning the only Son He has. He sent Jesus to die for us. Jesus died on the cross for our sin. Jesus bore the sin of the world. Yes, that is my sin, your sin, past sin, present sin.

Okay, let’s say we are using a whiteboard. We are gonna use a form of an analogy here. We have filled that whiteboard with a lot of writing, drawings, doodles, etc. All this stuff on there can represent things we done wrong according to God’s will. Lying, Stealing, Adultery, Murder, Saying God’s Name in Vain, and so on. The whiteboard is no longer clean. We can say the whiteboard is our self. The stuff written on the whiteboard is our sin. Sin that God can see.

Using the Big Eraser

God will use that big eraser when we accept Jesus as our personal savior. After we accept Jesus as our personal savior, He will take his mighty big eraser and white all the sin off slate clean. Remember Christ does the saving, not us! Once the slate is clean, the whiteboard will be as white as snow again! When God see us now, He will see the precious blood of Jesus on us and not our sin. This big eraser is how God gives us forgiveness. Did you know God cast those sins in the sea of forgetfulness, as far as the East is to the West, to be remembered no more.

Every Sin Wiped Clean

God’s big eraser is big enough to wipe clean every sin. There is no sin that cannot be wiped away. The only unforgivable sin is rejection of Jesus Christ. Denying Him. His big eraser can erase all those blots. He can erase those permanent markers off the whiteboard. He can erase it off any surface too, chalkboard, paper, wood, metal, whatever the surface maybe or the writing utensil. There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:1

If you want this, you must accept Jesus as your personal savior. Just because Jesus died for us doesn’t mean that we continue to sin. We will want to strive to sin less.
