Ask and Ye Shall Receive
Ask and Ye Shall Receive

God is good all the time. All the time God is good. God always goes with his promises, just like Ask and Ye Shall Receive. (Matthew 7:7-8, Matthew 21:22, Luke 11:910). All we must do is ask with a believing and trusting heart that God will provided it and it will be so. I recently experienced this. I went without eat for a few months in my car. It hasn’t got that cold yet, but it soon will. I have replaced the thermostat and still no go. I was told it was the blend door aculator, since my doors won’t change in the car. I was told by a couple of people it would cost more than what this car is worth to fix.

Being a single parent with custody, funds lack. So I went without heat and only only using a spot defroster that only works enough for a spot on the window. Not safe! Well. I decided to look into fixing it myself. With no avail, no videos for my type of car (2004 Dodge Stratus) to fix it. So I was looking around and could see it. I was told the part is behind the dash and radio. I could see it, but not easy spot to get to. I am no mechanic. I do not know anything about car repairs or such.

I then checked the price at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts, it was only $21. So I got it. I then prayed to God to help me fix it and and that this part was the issue of the no heat. It was very hard to do. I had to take apart the whole front dash, the radio, the control switch for the heating and air. Then the part was at the bottom to the back. I only had not even 2″ of space to be able to get it off. That was a challenge, the far back corner nut to get off. I continued to pray and trust that God will help me and He did. I got it off.

Then the wiring harness wouldn’t release from the old part. I then prayed again for help and then I was able to get that off. I attached the new blend door aculator on my car. I then attached the wiring harness. I proceeded to put the dash together. I had total faith and confidence that it would work without trying to test it before putting the dash back on.

I then put the dash back together, put the radio back in and the heating and air control panel pieces too. I turned on my car. Now the controls work on the proper setting and comes out the correct vent. I drove it around the block and guess what! I have heat!

All the credit and goes to God. I want to thank Him for the wisdom He gave me to fix this myself.

If you ask and believe God is faithful and trust to give you want we need. God knew we needed heat in the car, you can’t go too far without heat in  car or you will freeze. Thanks to my Heavenly Father for that wisdom to hep me fix that issue. God provides. Plus all things work for those who love God. Romans 8:28.

Do you trust God in all things? We must put our total faith and trust in God. God provides! Feel free to share with me in the comments a time that God provided for you or you asked for something?
