This post may have controversy. I am just shining some light on this matter of darkness.
I started to see a lot of the red squares with white equal signs began to appear on Facebook walls. Those are the ones who support the Gay Marriage. I also started to see similar ones with white cross inside. Now those are the ones who ban same-sex marriage. After seeing those I felt led to write a blog entry.
As my title of this blog says, “Marriage: One Man, One Woman, Period!”
God intended that man be married to woman thus he created Adam and Eve. He didn’t create Adam and Steve as the saying goes.
God intended man and woman to leave their family. Get married, unite and become one. Shown in Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:31, Matthew 19:4-6 and other places. Plus several times in the Bible it states the role of the husband to his wife and like wise his wife to her husband.
Even in Leviticus 18:22 tells man not to lay down with man as with woman. God said it is an abomination, detestable.
God even sent fire to the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah for the sin of being with the same gender.
It even says in the Bible that those who commit homosexuality will not see the kingdom of God. See 1 Corinthians 6:9. (shown in the below quote taken from the NKJV)
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,
The world is what is accepting this practice. Today the world seems to fit in everything that goes against the Word of God and does not accept what the Word of the God says. We do not want to become of this World either as the Bible says in Romans 12:2 NKJV:
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
I would vote to ban same-sex marriages because if I voted for it, it would be going against God’s Word. As Christians we do not want to go against God’s Word.
God does love everyone and doesn’t want anyone to perish, but He is a just God. He will punish those living in open sin and not repenting and turning away from their sin. Jesus is the cure for your sin. A True person with Christ will be a changed person.
Rob Bell Christianity will not soon support same-sex marriage as you claim that it will. You are a false teacher! You are going against the Word of God. If any church is for it they are a false doctrine. We are not to live in open sin and same-sex marriage is open sin. I first published this post March 26, 2013 and I am republishing it February 19, 2015 due to false teachers like Rob Bell coming out on this topic.
